Originally constructed in 1926 as Kansas City's Police Garage No. 2, 14W3 is a historic landmark now repurposed into innovative creative studio spaces. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 21,000 square-foot building, situated on the Kansas City Streetcar line, boasts a prime location near the historic City Market in the River Market district. The renovation of 14W3 transformed it into a vibrant hub for creative professionals, offering three floors of studio spaces featuring wrap-around windows, a monumental entry stairway repurposed from an old automobile elevator, secure gated parking, and one of the rare private courtyards in the bustling area.

To honor the historic essence of 14W3, Ofir Design created a dynamic branding strategy that merges the building's past with its modern creative purpose. Inspired by its origins as a police station, we incorporated original colors, fonts, and symbols into vibrant geometric patterns. These patterns became the cornerstone of the visual identity, influencing brand language, wallpapers, and the website design. The branding included a sleek, user-friendly website and cohesive print materials, reflecting the building’s new life as a creative studio space and resonating with its historic significance and vibrant future in the River Market district.
